International Meeting with Artificial Intelligence and Environment Friendly Project Students and teachers from Spain, Greece, Lithuania and Italy came together in Vakfıkebir with the project “Artificial Intelligence for Environmental Learning” carried out under the Erasmus+ program.
Vakfıkebir Tourism MTAL, which hosted the first student and teacher mobility of the project activities, had the opportunity to introduce both the district and the province in the best way. In the activities that started with visits to the District Directorate of National Education and District Governorship, cultures met, nature and technology intertwined.
Culture, Nature and Technology Intertwined
During the project, the historical and natural beauties of Trabzon were visited by the guests. Nature and history were brought together at important stops such as Uzungöl, Sumela Monastery, Zigana Mountains, Karaca Cave, Hagia Sophia Mosque and Atatürk Mansion.
At the same time, students carried out activities to raise environmental awareness with artificial intelligence tools. Innovative works such as AI-supported plant recognition and nature-themed song production with Suno AI attracted great interest from the participants.
STEM Education and Scientix Meeting
Another noteworthy event of the project was the environment-themed STEM workshop given by Scientix Turkey STEM Ambassador Çelebi Kalkan. Students were taught how they can use technology in the face of environmental problems.
Congratulations to the Success Team
Under the leadership of Project Coordinator Vildan Birincioğlu, the school principal Mehmet Kahveci and the project team were appreciated for their meticulous work. The guests expressed their thanks for the warm hospitality and professional organization.
With this project, Vakfıkebir Tourism Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School not only contributed to regional promotion but also carried out an exemplary educational activity throughout Europe.
